ABOUT IMPASTIAMO

IMPASTIAMO classes make cooking fun, easy and enjoyable–no matter your skill level. 
 
Whether it’s an online or in-person cooking event, our chefs from around the world will WOW you with tips, tricks and techniques so you can share in their culture and enjoy a mouthwatering dish that you made with your own hands. 
 
Founded in the spring of 2020 by Silvia Carluccio, formerly at Live Nation Entertainment, we set out to pair our love of food with our love of music–a consistent theme in all of our cooking class experiences. 
 
Since then, we've hosted over 300 online cooking classes with chefs from Milan, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Costa Rica, Sicily, Toscany, Spain, and India. We've proudly supported over thirty small businesses including restaurants, private chefs and nonprofits in this time, and that number continues to grow.

Our love affair with food drives us to promote sustainability, diversity and culture in our communities–starting in the kitchen. Our goal is to share our passion for cooking with you and to inspire our community to combat food waste. Together, we can make a difference.

SILVIA CARLUCCIO

CEO & FOUNDER

Silvia Carluccio was born in Busto Arsizio, Italy, and moved to Los Angeles in 2011 to pursue the dream of organizing concerts.

After working for Live Nation Entertainment from 2012 to 2019, Silvia started her own company with the mission to produce and promote events with a social impact. During the pandemic, she launched IMPASTIAMO, with the mission of helping the food industry and her chef friends.

Favorite dish: Silvia's favorite dish is Pizza, or as she calls it "The Zapi"

Kitchen personality: she's definitely the Chef of the company!

TATIANA
VALORI-SAMPSON

CLIENT LIAISON & OFFICE MANAGER

Tatiana has been a member of the IMPASTIAMO team since May of 2023. She is now the Client Liaison and OPS Supervisor ensuring great communication with you and the team! She is originally from Los Angeles, CA but has roots from Argentina and Belize.

Favorite dish: this is definitely a difficult question and especially for Tatiana, there is so much good food all around the world! But if she had to pin point one dish it would be Canelones de carne.

Kitchen personality: Tatiana loves to cook lots of things, but with so many things going on she can definitely leave a bit of a messy kitchen behind.

AGNESE KIWI

SOCIAL MEDIA WIZARD

Agnese (Kiwi) joined IMPASTIAMO as a marketing intern in the summer of 2023. She is now the Marketing Coordinator, working remotly from Spain. She's the wizard behind our social media and marketing, making sure everyone gets a taste of what we do online.

Favorite dish: Agnese swears by her grandma's tortellini. For her, nothing beats the comfort and taste of a dish made with family love and tradition.

Kitchen personality: Kiwi doesn't do simple when it comes to cooking. She's all about diving into complex recipes, mixing things up, and experimenting to make something unique and tasty. In her kitchen, it's all about being bold and trying new things.

TANIA TAN

MARKETING & EVENT COORDINATOR

Tania is Singaporean but has lived in Shanghai, China her entire life until she moved to LA to attend university! She joined the IMPASTIAMO Family in February 2023 as a Marketing & Events Intern and is now a Project Manager. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, hanging out with friends, visiting a new cafe/restaurant, and just exploring everything that LA has to offer.

Kitchen personality: she loves to eat and has found a new love for cooking and charcuterie board making through her work with us.

AGNESE GIARDINI

Agnese has been with IMPASTIAMO since the very beginning, when classes were online and the ingredients kits were shipped all over the world. She's now the SEO specialist, making sure that you can easily find on Google all your favorite “cooking classes near me”.

Favorite dish: you'd probably assume that there is no single answer to this question. Not for Agnese. Agnese has no doubts, her favorite dish is PIZZA.

Kitchen personality: she is the kind of person that walks around the kitchen and sticks her finger into your batter when you least expect it.

Carmelo is a seasoned traveler with an insatiable appetite for exploration and culinary delights from every corner of the globe. His passion for travel and food has taken him on countless adventures.

Favorite dish: Whether sampling street food in bustling markets or indulging in fine dining experiences, Carmelo approaches each culinary encounter with genuine enthusiasm and an open mind.

Kitchen personality: through his adventures, Carmelo not only satisfies his hunger for worldly experiences but also shares his love for travel and food with others, reminding us that “true fulfillment lies in the culinary joys we savor."
