2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 cups cane sugar*
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder, sifted if lumpy
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 3/4 teaspoons sea salt
- 1/2 cup of butter (not included in ingredients kit)
- 2 tablespoons water
- vanilla extract
- 1 cup of hazelnuts
- Baking trey
About Women in Coffee
“Women in Coffee” is Caffè Vergnano sustainable project: a concrete commitment to sustain projects of women working in the coffee plantations. A project for social inclusion.That is the goal of Women in Coffee 2020, which will support the construction of The Family Rural Library for the inhabitants of Marcala, Honduras. The library will be open to the whole community: a place where children can study, learn and have fun, where families can meet and where IWCA members can gather. All this to create a place that allows women to meet and express their full potential.

About your instructor Aliza Sokolow
Aliza J. Sokolow is a Los Angeles based food stylist and photographer. Her first published book, entitled THIS IS WHAT I EAT, is coming out with Random House Kids/ Rodale Books in Summer of 2021. The goal is to help parents and children eat a little bit healthier through color. Aliza is represented by the United Talent Agency.
She worked as a stylist on Emmy winning Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution. Her work has been featured extensively in commercials for top brands in the consumer product goods market and across publications in the USA. Images photographed by Aliza displayed at restaurants from coast to coast! She launched Poppyseed Agency, a full service social media agency in 2011 and worked with James Beard Award winning chefs and restauranteurs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.
She was in charge of food styling for Evan Funke’s American Sfoglino: A Master Class in Handmade Pasta. Aliza loves traveling the globe for social impact missions.
