Egusi Soup live from Nigeria

Let’s travel the world, we’e going to Africa! Chef Chidimma Ozokwere will teach us how to prepare Nigeria’s famous Egusi soup. Egusi is a West African name for seeds of plants like squash, melons, and gourds. When dried, they become a staple ingredient in many dishes. Particularly in Nigerian culture, Egusi is a popular with pounded yam. These seeds are rich in fat and protein and add these essential nutrients into West African Cuisine.

About the ingredients
- 1 cup Egusi (dried melon seeds)
- 1 paprika peppers or chili bell peppers
- 3 scotch bonnets
- 1 medium tomatoes
- 1/2 big onion bulb
- 6 tbsp palm oil
- 3-4 pcs beef cut
- 3-4 pcs goat meat cut
- 1 pcs dried fish
- 1/4 cup ground crayfish
- 2 Beef seasoning cubes
- 3/4 cup shredded spinach or vegetable of choice
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup rice
- Cooking Pots
- Cooking Spoon
- Blender or grinder
