EVENT DETAILS

It is always time for a fresh Margarita! Expert Myxologist David Hayes will teach us how to make two cocktails perfect for this summer season. 

INGREDIENTS  (1 drink per person)

  • 4 oz (140 ml) tequila blanco
  • 1 oz (25 ml) triple sec
  • 1 oz (35 ml) lime juice or lemon juice
  • 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice
  • 1 oz (30 ml) pineapple juice
  • 2 brown sugar cubes (optional)
  • 3 spoons salt
  • 1 jalapeño (optional)
  • ice

ABOUT DAVID HAYES

David Hayes was born in New Hampshire. He started bartending in 2010 in Boston and learned most of his skills from Cervantez Manga, a consultant in San Diego. He finally moved to Venice Beach where he’s been the beverage director at the Venice Beach Bar, a local spot and real piece of history in Venice Beach. David's favorite thing about making cocktails is seeing how cocktail mixes are endless and changing a single ingredient can make a brand new taste. His favorite drink is Negroni.
