- 1 lb beef mince
- 1 onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- ¼ cup olives (8 units)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup red wine
- 1/2 cup Parmigiano cheese (or a hard cheese)
- 2 potatoes
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 medium (9x13) casserole dish (clay if possible)
- 1 cutting board
- cheese grater
- frying pan or cooking pot
- potato smasher
About Chef Gaston Storace
Chef Gastón grew up surrounded by aromas and gastronomic traditions inherited from his mother and grandmothers. Always passionate about art, he decided to study gastronomy, fine arts and floriculture. His passion for food and its colorful flavors allowed him to explore many Latin American countries working in leading restaurants in Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and Uruguay. Over time, he settled down in Argentina managing a few restaurants in Buenos Aires. His latest personal project "WILDCURRY” is where he has been expressing his love for cooking by holding private dinner events, giving cooking lessons and creating gourmet meal kits for in-home preparation. "My way of communicating is through gastronomy. Thanks to this universal language I was able to travel, work and nourish myself from many cultures. That is what I love about cooking: learning and teaching what I have learned. As a chef and an artist, I not only focus on flavors and cooking techniques but I also believe decoration and presentation of each dish is equally important. In the kitchen I find my passion for art, communication and the gift of being able to give”.
