About Women in Coffee

“Women in Coffee” is Caffè Vergnano's sustainable project: a concrete commitment to sustain projects of women working in the coffee plantations. A project for social inclusion.That is the goal of Women in Coffee 2021, which will support the construction of The Family Rural Library for the inhabitants of Marcala, Honduras. The library will be open to the whole community: a place where children can study, learn and have fun, where families can meet and where IWCA members can gather. All this to create a place that allows women to meet and express their full potential.

About yoour instructor Fiona Lafon

Fiona Lafon is the cofounder of Appart Gourmand, a project born in Paris as a way to teach cooking classes to travelers. Fiona has a bachelor's degree in tourism. She has worked and lived in the United States as well as Australia. She obtained her CAP Pastry chef certification and has worked in France in places like Bogato, Lilu of the Valley and L'Eclair de Genie. Designed to make you feel at home, Appart Gourmand welcomes travelers and conveys a unique know-how: The French Art of Living & Gastronomy in all its diversity.
