Chef Zoey Gong will teache us how to prepare a plant based menu following Traditional Chinese Medicine food therapy principles. Using seasonal, easy to find ingredients, you'll cook three recipes: savory millet with squash porridge, steamed mochi stuffed dates, and walnut goji milk. Grab your ingredients and we'll see you in the kitchen!

  • 6 medjool dates,
  • 20g/2 tablespoon rice flour,
  • 30g/3 tablespoon mochi flour (glutinous rice flour), 
  • water or milk (as needed),
  • millet 100g/1/2 cup,
  • 150g pumpkin or squash,
  • oats 50g/0.56 cup,
  • 2 tbsp tahini,
  • sea salt (as needed),
  • 3 tbsp walnut,
  • 1 tbsp goji berry,
  • 4 cups oat milk,
  • 1 tbsp black rice,
  • honey or maple syrup (as needed)

About Chef Zoey Gong:

Chef Zoey Gong is a Traditional Chinese Medicine chef and nutritionist. Born in Shanghai, China, she now lives in New York City, where she hosts pop-up medicinal dinners and collaborate with various brands to teach the wisdom of medicinal cooking.
