Diwali Fest Menu

Diwali Fest is one of the most important celebrations in South Asia, is the festival of lights. During five days people decorate their homes with oil lamps and colorful art, but most importantly they share food and gifts with their neighbors.

For this year's celebration Chef Jd Singh takes you to a virtual culinary trip to India, as he teaches how to prepare a proper Indian Menu to celebrate Diwali Fest with your family and friends!

DIWALI MENU

• Channa Masala (Chickpea Curry)
• Garlic Paratha (A flavoured flatbread recipe made with wheat and chilli and garlic)
• Kheer (Rice Pudding made with basmati rice, sugar, full fat milk and cardamoms. Kheer is a quintessential Indian dessert made for festivals and celebrations)

ABOUT CHEF JD SINGH

Originally from India, JD comes from a big Punjabi family who has owned a restaurant for 3 generations. Cooking and eating together as a family was how he learned to show love and share happiness, and his eagerness to share his cuisine and food memories led him to start hosting cooking classes and food tours in Delhi. For the past 6 years, he has provided food experiences for over 4000 guests and corporate clients from all over the world.
