What happens when food meets music? Francois Comtois, the drummer from Young The Giant, will teach us how to make a delicious Moqueca de Peixe. This is a special family recipe that is a Brazilian seafood stew cooked in a terracotta casserole. Followed by a live acoustic performance by YTG.

What happen when food meets music? Francois Comtois, the drummer of the Young The Giant, will teach us how to make a delicious Moqueca de Peixe (Fish Moqueca). The recipe comes from his family, Moqueca is a Brazilian seafood stew, cooked in a terracotta cassole. A live acousitic performance will follow. Donation required to participate. Net proceeds after expenses benefit Crew Nation, a global relief fund for live music crews. For global time zones and for your convenience the cooking class will be streamed live again on 12/12/20 at 5PM (Rome) | 4PM (UK) and available until 9pm EST on 12/16/20.

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb white fish (cod, halibut, swordfish) // cleaned and cut into large pieces
- 1/2 lb shrimp // shelled and deveined
- 1 medium onion // chopped coarsely
- 2 garlic cloves // minced
- 1 green bell pepper // seeded, de-stemmed and chopped
- 1.5 cups chopped ripe tomatoes or 1 x can diced tomatoes (14 oz)
- 1 can coconut milk (8 oz)
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- Bunch of cilantro // chopped
- 1 tbsp dende oil (optional but it really adds to the flavor)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 limes
- Olive oil
To serve
- 1 cup Rice
