EVENT DETAILS

Are you a Pizza lover? Well, you're not alone! Dive deep into the secrets of the real Neapolitan Pizza with Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana and Master Instructor Peppe Miele. This is a two day course. On Saturday you will learn how to prepare the Pizza dough (kneaded by hand). To make a good Pizza easy to digest the dough needs to rest 24 hours. On Sunday Peppe will show you how to shape the Pizza and bake it. Pair a bottle of wine with your dish!

For the Pizza Dough (kneaded by hand)

  • 2.2 lb of type "00" Flour
  • 0.06 oz of fresh yeast or 1/3 cup Caputo dry yeast
  • 4 or 5 tsp sea salt
  • 19.61 fl oz of water 

For the Sauce 

  • 1 cup peeled tomatoes
  • 2-3 large pinches of salt

For the Topping 

  • 7 oz fresh mozzarella cheese (preferably fresh mozzarella)
  • 5 or 6 large fresh basil leaves, plus more for garnishing

Optional

Garlic

Pecorino Romano

Parmigiano Reggiano

About Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana 

The Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana is an international organization officially established on June 1984 by a group of Neapolitan people representing some of the oldest families of pizza makers and the most famous Neapolitan pizzerias,  seeking to cultivate the culinary art of making Neapolitan pizza. Later on, the association was officially established by the Italian government as a denomination of control (DOC), a designation that made AVPN a legal entity able to give special designation to pizzerias who meet strict requirements that respect the tradition of the art of Neapolitan pizza making.
