About Chef Maria Luisa

Maria Luisa Manca is a passionate and accomplished Italian cooking teacher with over 15 years of experience in the culinary arts.
Born and raised in Sicily, Italy, Maria Luisa grew up surrounded by the rich flavors and traditions of Italian cuisine. Her deep love for cooking was cultivated in her family's kitchen, where she learned the secrets of authentic Italian dishes from her grandmother and mother.
Maria Luisa's classes are not just about cooking; they are about experiencing the true essence of Italy. She emphasizes the importance of using fresh, high-quality ingredients and shares the cultural and historical contexts of the dishes she teaches. Her hands-on approach ensures that students gain practical skills and confidence in the kitchen.

Classes are non refundable. If you can no longer make your class, you are able to modify the date/time of the booking, up to 72 hours prior to the event, or can transfer your ticket to a friend. After 72 hours, refund, exchanges or modifications are not accepted.

A special ticket for our younger guests to join the experience alongside a parent. Young chefs will prepare lasagna together with their parent and our chef, then enjoy the meal as part of the class. Valid only with a paying adult. A valid ID is required upon entry to verify age. Guests over 14 without a valid Young Chef ticket will be charged the standard ticket price.
