Join La Scuola to learn how to make your very own Tagliolini ai Funghi, a traditional rustic Tuscan dish made up of hand crafted pasta ribbons cooked in a wild-funghi ragù. You will learn the ins and outs of how to make a mixed mushroom ragu sauce from start to finish, all while learning about Italian food and culture from your La Scuola Chef. When it's time to put them together, you'll learn how to perfectly "marry" the pasta with the sauce.
In this class, guests will:
- Learn about the Italian tradition of sauces in Italian cuisine
- Prepare your own sauce with guidance from La Scuola chef
- Enjoy a pasta dish paired with wine
- Learn about the wine producers and the production of chosen wines
- Take home recipe and wine tasting notes
Nota Bene: For all cooking classes, cooking surfaces and burners are shared between members of your party.
All the ingredients necessary for the class will be provided at Eataly Cooking School.
