Join our cooking birthday party and invite your friends! This class is on us! 

Created as a way to support chefs whose livelihoods were impacted by the pandemic, we’ve grown into a platform that connects culinary experts to curious home cooks all around the world. Since our inception, we've hosted over one hundred cooking classes and events, and have raised $20,489 in support of out-of-work chefs and $13,413 for local nonprofits.

We've doubled our staff since last year and are now a staff of 6, located all over the world! We're so thankful for the support of our cooking community near and far.

INGREDIENTS (serves 3-4)

  • 2 bunches fresh basil
  • 2 cups (250 g) semolina flour
  • 1 cup (237 ml) water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 3 tablespoons (25 g) pine nuts
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • ½ cup (40 g) grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 1 bottle of wine to toast with us (optional)

  • immersion blender, blender, or mortar & pestle

  • pot for boiling pasta

ABOUT CHEF FRANCESCO LUCATORTO

Chef was born in Genova, the world capital of focaccia. After studying the Culinary Arts in Italy (ALMA) he joined 2 Michelin star restaurant Providence under Chef Micheal Cimarusti. He soon began exploring the LA food scene, working for Terroni, Officine Brera, Otium, followed by the opening of Sixth+Mill Pizzeria and most recently Osteria Angelini. His passion for food brought him to discover the beauty of baking, kneading and proofing dough. This coupled with his Ligurian roots resulted in an obsession for focaccia.
