2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
¾ pound trimmed and halved brussels sprouts
salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Toss brussels sprouts wioth oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast in 400° oven for 30-40 minutes. Sprinkle on more salt and, if you like, red-pepper flakes.
